Indonesian footballer Akli Fairuz has died following a horrific tackle from goalkeeper Agus Rahman. Indonesian Persiraja striker Akli Fairuz suffered internal injuries and bladder leakage following Rahman's waist-high lunge.
Footballer Akli Fairuz dies after horror tackle After he took the kick to his body from the PSAP Sigli goalie, Fairuz was substituted and watched the remainder of the match from the bench. However, after he was admitted to hospital he took a turn for the worse and passed away a few days later.
